Scrapyard: Battery Lace

Battery Lace

This old battery terminal cabling from a truck caught my eye. In other circumstances from other material it might be considered beautiful. It had indeed been put to one side since its new cannibalistic owneres obviously feel it has remaining usefulness and coud be sold. For these guys, thérefore, it has a kind of beauty which could be turned to gold. It is however a kind of utilitarian beauty which does not even warrant a clean up.

Clearly beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Nice! Beauty can be found in the most unexpected places, and you are so good at finding it! Great title too--this really does look like lace!

Great patterns you've found. I really like your composition on this one. The yellow is a great contrast with the black caps & cables. Awesome find & great eye.
