Scrapyard: It's a Gas

It's a Gas

The decision for a theme this week is 'Scrapyard'. Back in February, I had a little time with nothing better to do, so I took my trusty camera off for a day out to the scrapyard. It is relatively easy to take beautiful pictures which are well received of photogenic subjects such as babies, buildings and wildlife. there is, however, a wealth of opportunity in places such as scrapyards.

These bottles form a small multicoloured family. I loved the colours and the textures in the (what was once) yellow of the skip behind.

I have added David Kapp - life kapptured to my small selection of links (two at the moment) to outstanding blogs with high quality pictures - check it out if you have not already!

I love photos of urban decay & and anything weathered. There is one scrap yard in the area, and I tried to take photos there last year, but was denied. :(

I love the colors of this photo. It reminds me of those colorful wooden dolls that fit inside each other. I'm not sure what they are called. They are usually depicted as a family, with the father being the biggest, then the mother, and down to the kids.

Thanks for the link. That means a lot to me. Once I get my link page figured out, your sure to be on it. This site is a daily stop for me.
