Scrapyard: Skip Texture

Skip Texture

Some commented on the texture and colour in the skip from yesterday's post - It's a Gas.

Here is a closer view of the side of the skip (from another angle) showing the yellow almost vanished to be replaced by a beautiful undulating rust texture.

I love capturing textures and patterns in photographs, particularly where they are items which are commonly ignored. There are many on my hard drive - perhaps I will do a textures week sometime.

Heh...yeah, when I first looked it it I saw autumn trees, with their leaves being blown around in a stiff wind! What an amazing shot, that it manages to conjur up so many different images! It looks more like an abstract pointalistic painting than a closeup photograph of a rusty skip! Wonderful, Timurilenk!

Robert and lara, it is amazing what we can see in mundane objects viewed from an alternative perspective.
