Eiffel Tower; FIre Suppression System

FIre Suppression System

I saw this which I assume is some kind of hose connection point to water ring main to help combat fire. I am not really sure, but it is probably related to the large vessels I posted on Monday in the picture Red & Yellow.

Good contrasting colors. Everything related to Eiffel Tower seems to be huge.

These bits they've got painted bright red really stand out against all that beige metal! These really do look interesting--I like how the paint looks so thick and glopped on on the top two, but fairly nice and neat on the bottom one...

Great contrast between the intense red and the soft beige. The strong diagonals are also pleasing.

Love the red with the beautiful patina of the brass.

Great reds. Like the others said, the paint still looks wet.

I know there are painters on the golden gate bridge every day of the year. The paint gets thick like on your tower picture. My guess is they are on a similar schedule.

Those hose connections are the iron flowers of the tower...

nice one ian. one suggestion .. perhaps you could've angled your camera to line up the brown edge of the structure with the sides of the picture..? just my opinion.
