Journey: Luggage Rack

Luggage Rack

This is the luggage rack in the Frankfurt to Wiesbaden S-Bahn train. It looked like it would make a neat abstract. Being in the carriage on my own, it was easiret to take pictures of oddities without attracting attention to my self in a foreign country.

I work in Germany and most of my colleagues think I am completely nuts anyway - they put it down to me being English - what they do not know is that I am nuts, even by English standards.

New series tomorrow, not sure what I might do yet, perhaps the Eiffel Tower, perhaps something else. I will decide in the morning.

Have a great weekend!

Looks like a platinum work of art. I really like the hint of color sneaking out around the tube.

Was you in Dayton for NCR?

I love your abstracts! And I know the feeling about the strange looks. And the comments when I'm trying different techniques to get the right look: 'He must REALLY like that flower!'

Thank you all

Fred - it was the slivery half reflective surface that appealed to me

Rock - I had not noticed the colour, but you are right - must be coming from the window., perhaps it is an artefact created by the curvature.

potpurri - perhaps I will :-)

Paul - I have had lots of funny looks taking pictures!

drendt - difficult to know how to explain - it is a place above a seat on a train where bags are placed during the journey.
