Burning Bush

Took this sunset a year ago - it has a few technical problems, but I like it anyway.

It has numerous faults, the most obvious being - blown highlights, iris flare patterns in the sun ...

This is a beautiful sunset -- so many different shades of orange and yellow.

On a more technical note, you mentioned my RSS feed isn't working properly -- I subscribe myself and it seems to be working for me. If you would like, you can contact me via the email link on my "About" page, and we'll work this out. You might also try unsubscribing, then subscribing again.

This is really awesome, love the colors in it. OK, and I have a question. My site has the feed turned on and there is just a link that they said to put in my sidebar (which I just did). Is there anything else I should do?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and who, on beholding this, could argue its beauty? Not I.

It really does almost look as though the tree were full of glowing embers--what a perfect title! And the soft orange of the sky and water is beautiful!

hey, thanks for checking out my blog ;)

I have mixed feelings for this one. I like the sunset and the orangey colors, and i like the wild reddish bush, just not too sure if they go along with each other...like it's not too balanced for some reason...not sure what I'm trying to say, so I'll shut up now.

Cheers,
Ken

I like the flare/star around the sun. Nice colors. Too bad the water highlights are so gone.

The color of the sunset, reflection in the water and the tree all work really well together. I wouldn't get too worried about the technical imperfections :)

That gold is amazing! It's a real metallic gold on the water. It must have been a wonderful moment to have seen that in person.

love the exposure here. and a very fitting title =)
Thanks for commenting on my photo, lol I didn't even notice the gravity-defying martini until you mentioned. Its funny how your eye can just selectively skip over details sometimes.

This sunset is beautiful... very relaxing tones... the fact that the sun is not centered and the presence of the tree make this scene very unique... and the red color of the tree matches so well the yellow from the sunlight...

very warm colours, a nice picture.
sometimes just enjoy the beauty and nature without worrying much into technicalities. once you start photographing you start getting bogged down with technical aspects than beauty behind it. it good for a change.

Technical problem? Well at least I don't notice any in this photo. I like this sunset too. The colours of the water and the sky almost the same and this is a very interesting golden sunset. I saw this photo yesterday but I was just to busy to comment. Sorry.
