Flickr Favs: Storm Tree

Storm Tree

I like trees and this one stood out for me on a stormy day - It is on the route where I normally walk my dog. I guess I will post pictures of the dog eventually.

The scheme here is blue green!

Not sure where I will go tomorrow, I will decide in the morning. I am planing to move this blog to its own space in the near future, there will be information and a link from here when I do.

If you wouldn't have mentioned a storm I would have thought this a nice sunny day. Everything is bright and cheery, but I guess the sky is a little stormy. I like how the path leads us right to the tree.

Good luck with your own site.

It looks almost surreal...the bright colours yet the storm is looming ahead. Nice capture!

Oh my how neat!
it's always neat how at stormy times colors are just so vibrant, you wouldn't think they would be, but they are.
great capture!

This reminds me of a painting. I really like how the path leads me into the shot.

Congrats on moving to your own server. Have you thought about what software your going to use? If not, I can recommend pixelpost. I love it.

This is a beautiful shot -- everything in this works well together. This has to be one of the best ones I've ever seen on your site. Very well done.

Interesting shot, I like the composition and it works well. However, it seems kind of bright for stormy weather, have you tried deliberately underexposing it in post processing? I think that would add a more menacing feel.
